Wow, sorry friends I've been super busy with school and work. I'm sorry I've been slacking. So, a lot has happened since the last time I posted. Unfortunately I've been so busy with life that I had stopped going to church but I soon realized that my life is not easy or fulfilling without inviting Jesus into my life daily. So I'm back on the right track. I can never stray too far away because the Lord just won't allow it. My sweet Shepard always gathers His flock, and Thank You Lord that I'm part of your flock. As of right now, I'm preparing to visit my loving family in Massachusetts! I leave in 7 days!!! Now that I've finished this spring semester I have many projects I'm working on this summer. First, I'm entering a new season in a deeper relationship with Christ. I ask friends that you pray for me, I'm coming out of a dry season and need to be drenched in the Holy Spirit. Thank You. Also, in February I got a new edition to my family!! Her name is Millie, she is a Morkie-poo. I love her but she is disobedient and I will be working hard to train her this summer. I've also discovered my passion for photography and in September I will be taking my first photography class! But, I can't wait all summer to start enjoying this great gift! So, I'll be starting that too!! Man I have a lot going on already, lol. I'm excited though!
So, to share with you the joys of being a daughter of a king....I must be honest. I have strayed away from the Father for a little while. But even in doing that He still is faithful and still enjoys giving me the desires of my heart. He still expresses to me his undying love for me!! He is so sweet. When I first discovered my photography passion it was a little after my uncle wally passed away, God rest his soul. He was a collector =) and He collected really awesome digital cameras. I've been asking my Dad to please sell me one, but he kept blowing me off and not even responding once to me. I was extremely disappointed and angry, why wouldn't he talk to me. I wasn't asking for a hand out, I just wanted to be able to enjoy what I loved to do and because these particular cameras were so expensive and he was going to sell them anyway, why wouldn't he sell one to me. So, I decided that I don't need his help and I would get an awesome camera on my own. Well God had a different plan. I was working one night, and was waiting on these two older couples. After they had dinner and already paid out, they started asking me about school. I told them about my passion for photography and the man turned around and said " My wife is going to think I'm crazy but I have this really great film Nikon camera that I just pulled out of my closet the other day and planned on selling it. But something in me is telling me to give it to you." I could not believe it, I immediately started crying in the middle of the restaurant and told them I had been asking my dad to sell me one and he wouldn't , and I had been really praying about it. Well this opened the door for them to speak life into me and pray for me!! How great is our God!! From this I realized what a loving Father I have in heaven, and that day I realized that God takes care of me even better than an early father!! I was blown away!! I'm so grateful for that couple, and I'm really sad that I lost their email address to reiterate my thanks. But it's all in God plan!!
Well, I'm glad I get to share that story and I will be writing more. Thank You for listening. And God bless!!

Filled with Hope
When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, December 15, 2007; I was instantly delivered. God would no longer sit back and let me live the way I was living any longer. Unfortunately, it took me some time to realize and understand that. I can’t say that when I became a Christian I stopped using drugs, I still didn’t love myself enough. But I knew God and before I even came to Him He started working in me, changing things about me that I had accepted as part of my personality. God didn’t deliver me by keeping me from drugs, He delivered me by revealing to me His unmeasurable love for me. He revealed to me the way He sees me and He started softening my heart towards myself and Him. God made drugs less appealing and He became more appealing, I drank from His cup and I wanted more! He showed me there was hope when I felt hopeless. God will deliver people in an instant and sometimes they accept it instantly, turn from it and run to Him; never looking back. For others it takes time and it takes work, but one day you’ll look back and be amazed at how beautiful that experience was. We seem to fall more in love with the things we have to fight hard for. You will see that God loved you when you were unworthy of His love, when you realize that…. The incredible joy that comes will be unexplainable.
I just want to tell anyone who is struggling with drugs…there is hope for you! Even if you don’t feel it, God loves you more than you could possibly imagine. Don’t give up friends, continue to pray and seek God… He hears your cries and He feels your brokenness. I’m not claiming that it is easy but when you trust God…It gets easier. Don’t beat yourself up if you relapse, no matter how many times you might; dust yourself off, ask forgiveness, and press on- life will get better!
You are forgiven, just ask! There is hope!
For those who have loved one’s struggling with drugs; Pray for God to break them, for Him to bring them to their knees so there’s nowhere else to look but up. And I pray that He gives you the grace and the strength to trust in Him, it’s not easy to watch someone you love hit rock bottom; but I promise it will be the best thing for them. I know this because I’ve been there, and I’m so grateful for my family because as much as it hurt them to turn away from me; it was the best thing they could have ever done for my life. Because of their “tough love” I got to a very desperate place and ran to God, I had no one else to run too!

Taking Hold of your Blessings
I learned a lot on Sunday; about receiving and giving blessings.
In Ephesians 1:3 it clearly says we have already been blessed with EVERY blessing in heaven! The problem is, we don't fully understand how to take hold of those blessings. A pastor from Denmark (forgive me but I forgot his name) explained it so perfect and simple, now I'm even more blessed because I know how to use my blessings!
Life throws us in difficult circumstances and gives us tough decisions to make, all of the time; all we have to do to make sure our decisions are the right ones... is ASK! Ask and you shall receive, the Lord will not hesitate to answer His children. Thank the Lord for all the blessings He has bestowed on you, call upon those blessings in all circumstances, than ask the Lord whether or not the choice you are about to make is the right one... your very next thought will be what the Lord says. Sometimes we miss what He says because when He speaks to our spirit, it sounds very similar to how our spirit speaks to us. But, trust that the Lord does not hesitate to answer. Then, it is up to you to follow through on what He tells you. How incredibly simple and wonderful is that?!!!
The problem that we as believers have is that we know we are blessed but we seldom know what that means exactly, or how to use our blessings. Sunday, I learned how to call upon my blessings and if this speaks to your heart....SO HAVE YOU!!
Also, when we bless others, more blessings are stored up for us in heaven... so bless everyone God speaks to your heart about, than everyone else. No matter what your flesh is saying!
Be blessed friends. In Jesus Name!

Marriage is hard, but can someone be positive!
We got married April 15, 2011... yes a little over a month. Everyone, seriously, everyone that I tell starts with: "It's hard!" Where is all the love?!! I know our generation has the highest divorce rate, and most of my friends grew up in split homes. But man, can someone tell me...." Hey that is great, CONGRATS, i will be praying for ya'll to stand united when the world is trying to separate you!" Now that would be the appropriate response to someone who just was married a month ago! Although, I can excuse some people because they don't acknowledge the Lord in their life like my husband and I do. And that's the difference, that is why my marriage will work....Because I lean on the Lord, I will commit to praying, always, for my marriage. I know there will be really hard times, but I married this man for a reason. Because I trust the Lord, and i trust my husband to get through hard times together.

Working on my Testimony
In the Bible it speaks on you're testimony being a powerful tool for bringing people to Christ. As a recovered and delivered addict, I have a powerful testimony. It's a beautiful thing to look back into your past, especially when you were living in sin, and see where the Lord was in your life; where He protected you, loved you, and carried you. I have some more writing and revising to do to my writen testimony, but I'm looking forward to sharing it with everyone. God has done a beautiful thing in me, and I want to proclaim His love from the mountain tops! God Bless you all!

Just getting started
Hi everyone! My name is Meaghan Marie Osterling, I'm 25 years old and have been married to the man of my dreams for almost a month now! I know, not long at all right! It's still exciting and fresh! My first blog ever was about 7 years ago on myspace. It pretty much consisted of poems I wrote and letters to loved ones. I enjoy writing! It's been difficult starting again; I often find myself with writers block. I'm going to be persistant this time, and for summer break I will be practicing writing often. I'm in college majoring in Elementary Education and I work at an Italian Resturant, as a server. Seriously, being a server... I could write a blog everyday about the wierd, funny, stupid people I deal with on a regular basis. I'm actually looking forward to talking about it!
I come from a large family, but my immediate family consisted of 2 beautiful sisters: Brittany and Shayna! I love them very much, I couldn't imagine life without them. My baby sister Shayna had a baby almost a year ago; My neice's name is Nevaeh Marie Faria. She is amazingly beautiful. Unfortunately, I don't get to see her often because I live so far away. Brittany, who is 14 months younger than I, is due to have a baby in July; Joseph Michael, I'm eager to welcome him into this world.
My immediate family now consists of my wonderful husband, Jesse Paul Osterling; and my beautiful step-daughter Myah Kayleigh Osterling. I adore my family, so ya'll will be hearing much about them.
I could go on and on some more about who I am, and where I've come from. But I'm going to end my blog here......
I am a wife, a mom, daughter and sister. And I've been chosen by the Lord! Have a wonderful day friends. Love you
